A laser that is used for tattoo removal is a highly focused laser that rapidly delivers a beam of light to the skin for the purposes of removing unwanted tattoos. These particles are slowly faded and then eliminated via the lymphatic system.

However, the treatment plan varies according to individuals, 6-12 treatments may be required for satisfying results depending on the age, size, quality and colour of the tattoo.
